The scene
Skyler, frightened after learning more about Walt’s work, begs him to go to the police because he might be in danger. Walt turns on her: he isn’t in danger, he is the danger. If a man opens his door and gets shot, he says, she shouldn’t think that would be him. “No. I am the one who knocks!”
Both lines, “I am the danger” and “I am the one who knocks”, are used to mock someone acting far tougher than they are.
